I'm flying off today, (:

Thanks for the many happy memories that this blog has encapsulated;

and to all my readers, you're very much loved.

But before I end my very last post on this blog,

let me share with you what Mink&Moe stood for.

Many a times in my life, I appear to different people differently.

In school, I may seem like some overachiever, some nerd, crazy about entrepreneur club and all.

Outside, I appear to be a party animal who hardly gives a phelps about school.

And then there're the many grey areas between, and to some people I may be a mink,

others, a moe.

So, I started this blog, Mink&Moe, hoping that here's the place where everyone will see both sides of me. Hence, see the mink and moe of me.

But with time, as the number of drafts grow.

I realise that, I can never really truly be myself on a blog.

And I'm sure, I'm not the only blogger who feels this way too.

So, as with An Angelina, I'm moving away from this blog. (:

But I guess we never do really say goodbye.

At least for now.

When I started this blog, I was prepared for judgments, I was prepared for (shallow) people to pass off comments about me when they don't even know me.

Whilst being prepared is one thing, tolerating them is another thing.

Who are we to judge others? Much less people whose shoes we haven't put ourselves into?

It's not as if this is affecting me, but it's just been surfacing in my thoughts. Especially the past few days.

Cornee, Vindri and I used to study together for the o levels! (: (and end up eating somewhere, i swear, always the case! hhahhaa)

So we called ourselves "faith", don't ask. haha. :D

AND THEN, all 3 of us got into tjc by coincidence. AND THEN, cornee left for CHINA, and vindri left for CHICAGO. good job, people! leaving me here in singapore. hahaha. (:

Anyway, both of them happened to come back during their holidays so we decided to catch up over a smackin-fantastic dinnner at newyork newyork! Oh, and I made a new friend, Stella, who's vindri's church friend. :D (who's on holiday from studying in Canada) Okay, some international relations dinner. hahahhahaa.

1. Good life starts only when you stop wanting a better one.
2. Sometimes, the truth is not good enough. And when that time comes, close your eyes for awhile, gather your heavy heart and walk away. There'd be good days when the pain doesn't come, but I'm not implying that there won't be days where all you want to do is curl up in a corner, waiting for someone to take you away, from the pain. But it'd get better, with time.
3. I'm still in shock that I finished today's physics mcq diagnostic test like 15 mins before? haha, then me and michelle started wondering why there's so many b's and c's; rather dubbious. :( oh bother, let's hope we do well. :D
4. I was sooo tired today finishing all the shitwork/studying last night, so when I staggered to the canteen to find redbull, alas! they don't sell it. darrrn. I want my vdkrebull. :( p, can we hurry up plan our weeekend?
5. Out of sight, out of mind.
6. Butter squid + phad thai doesn't go. HAHAHA.
7. You know how you like to push people around, snap at them, throw your weight around and think that people are still putting up with you? you are so wrong, babe. I don't know about you, but I believe in karma and you should too. I swear you're feeling the guilt and insecurities already; tsk.
8. Money isn't everything; but without money, you're nothing.

(: I hope you had a good time today, dee. :D I'm praying you never ever chance upon this blog, but if you do, let's hope this profession of love for you offsets whatever rubbish you found out about me through mink&moe. :D Just want to say that i love you with all my heart, and i've always admired you from a little girl till the semi-adult that I am now. I'm sorry for all the times I hurt you, but it was never in my intention to do so. I'm sorry for being the (primary) cause of the destruction of your (old and needs a replacement anyway! hahaa, and i bet you love that smacking new sexy gorgeous titanium phone you have now) phone. (details about incident not included) Thanks for all the times you shoved your work away just so i can lay in your arms to cry about (shitty) stuff, all the times you loved me unconditionally, and being the abso-handsome father that you aree. (: I swear I lovee you, and of course, marmee too :D and i guess people might not have guessed it. but you guys are the reason as to why i wanna go smu so much. (: I don't ever want to be caught in a situation whereby I've a choice to stay in a hostel for convenience sake and to avoid the long commute (which I hate). 1. P thinks its mad that my counter keeps increasing like nobody's business. Personally, I don't even keep track of my counter. And even so, I think it's attributed to people like her who keeps refreshing the page to load the tagboard or some other shit. :D hahaha.

2. I've seen a total of at least 60 (and still counting) toyata wish(es) on the road for the past 2 weeks. I'm perfectly fine with proliferation of certain cars on the road IF they're like good looking. :D (eg. sexy mazda3/6 in burgundy, red, black and cobaltblue. :D) but toyota wish(es) are number one: SUPER BULKY. number two: COMES IN THE MOST (i would say atrocious but that's too mean) out-of-this-world (literally, they should be out of this world:D, hahaha!) COLOURS. hahaha, (: the best thing? daddy agrees with me! HAHA.
p.s by this, i mean no ill intention to people who drive toyota wish(es). :D

3. It's sickening to live a double life. Because people will judge, form impressions and use them on you. (: Not as if it really bothers me, but there are just somethings in life which would be best kept a secret, at least for now. AND. I'm moving like really soon, once i find a nice nice lj skin. After which, I shouldn't be divulging my blog add. If you're one of my close friends, you should be able to find it. If not, hahaha, then, what you don't know won't kill you. :D And until now, I still discover new (extremely strange) readers of my blog, which.. is quite. hmm. hahah. okay, screw this point.

4. I've found my lofty dream (After an epiphany), as in seriously. And it's beyond SMU, and only one other person knows about it. (: I'm not divulging for now! but I'd probably spill in my livejournal. :D stay tune to that man, haha.

5. I love skyping with you, and doing weird para para dances with my moss-green facial mask on. UNTIL i find out you've been secretly snapping screenshots of me, together with all my cranko-ness. hahahhahaa. whathebang-la. watch out for our next skype, i swear, you're going dowwwwn baby!

6. I'm going to kiccck prelim's ass. Think saatchi&saatchi. :DDDD and i love michelle for all the motivation she's been providing me. (: (big kisses)

PRE-WARNING:

1) If it's past midnight, and you're in a very starvacious mode and you would attack a cow and eat it now if you could, then please divert your attention to other blogs, at least for now! lest you hate mink&moe forever! :D (you'd understand why if you scroll down)

2) I'm horribly tired on a friday night (gasps! can you believe it?! what happened to tgif?) So if whatever i'm typing doesn't seem to cogent nor coherent, please pardon me. (:

OKAY. here comes a shitload of peektures! (:

So I was rummaging my fridge the other day, found loads of boxes of chocolates from chocolat world and every other chocolate gourmet; realised that friends of my family lovees to buy us chocolates, not knowing that we're not much of a chocolate fan club, hahaha. and YESS, that's why my friend just lovee coming to my house to ravage my fridge. (hello shaikha! haha)

So, I opened up this huge box of chocolates which was already opened. They were all soooo pretty that I just had to try one. and guess what? The moment i sank my teeth into one, dark chocolate and its hint of brandy oozed and i went straight up to haven. Dark chocolate and alcohol together, is pretty much love and sin all wrapped in one small little evil package!

So, one evening, my parents went out for dinner at goodwood park hotel. I decided to ditch maggee mee and the horribly unhealthy food which i usually takeaway from the coffee shop behind, and channel the inner jamie oliver in me for the first time in a very long while. Whipped up some tuna & omelette and good ole mushroom soup!

p.s friends who know me should know i really do love having dinner parties, or just cooking hell lots and inviting people over for a good meal and awesome company. ;)

I always use butter, never oil. Butter's so much more fragrant, i swear. Season tuna with lots of ground black pepper!

I prefer homemade mushroom soups, esp the one from the Big Fish at Siglap. (: Don't get me wrong though, I do appreciate Mr Campbell. :D

I've this weird habit of putting pepper into my raw eggs before frying them. It's kind of like the action of seasoning your meat before frying them. (: I don't know about you guys, but I love doing this way, but of course, more pepper (ONLY GROUND black pepper) after it's cooking (:

The eggs were really really fluffy, soft, and full of flavour from the butter and the tuna. (:

I love what daddy's contractor did to our kitchen, really pretty and all now. (: It has like lights over the frying area and the fan thingy to suck up all the smoke that would have gotten into your face. =O

So a good friend of mine happened to be passing by my street, so I invited him over to share the fruits (okay, not literally fruits in this case) of my labour! (: and after that, we started to talk about everything random and all. (:

Haha, and yes, he kept thanking me for helping him with some shots he needed.

HAHA! If you've seen my other photos, you'd realise that something about me's different! I swear it's just a small small difference, but it does make a difference after all! (:

Have been watching The Hills recently on mtv.com! (: Am surprised at how it's almost a narration of my life at times. I'm pretty much a Lauren Conrad, but there's the Tiffany in me that's like this perfectionist and just strives so hard to get where she wants to in life. Heidi's the parrty girl in me, who loves events, parties and all, and the quiz i took (yes those twittty quizes :D which are rather fun, i must add) said I'm an Audrina. (: Can't see the Whitney in me though, besides the fact she's hell tall. haha.
